Summer Barbecues
Help your summer to sizzle and make sure your barbecue is ready for some serious action by sprucing it up with Rust-Oleum Stove & BBQ Paint. This paint provides an essential, heat-resistant finish to stoves, barbecues and chimineas, as well as engines, radiators and other metal items.
Rust-Oleum Stove & BBQ Paint is suitable for use on both indoor and outdoor objects. It is fast drying and provides an ultra tough finish that withstands heat up to 650ºc and protects against further corrosion.
Choose from a black, silver or green finish and follow our simple guide to give your barbecue a new lease of life this summer!
Step by step guide – rejuvenating your barbecue
- Move your barbecue out to an open space in the garden or garage on top of a large dust sheet or some old newspapers. You may want to cover the surrounding area with additional dust sheets/ newspaper to protect it from spray mist.
- Knock off any loose rust on the barbecue with a wire brush. Wipe clean with a damp sponge. Remove or mask off propane tank (if it’s a gas barbecue), wheels, tool basket, shelves, and other miscellaneous hardware using masking tape.
- Apply Rust-Oleum Stove & BBQ Enamel to the entire outer surface of the barbecue (do not paint the cooking surface of your barbecue). Follow the application tips and drying times on the can. Reattach all removed parts when dry.
Rust-Oleum Stove & BBQ Paint is available from B&Q, Homebase and other leading stockists. From £7.99 for 400ml.
