Ruukki appoints Mikael Nolborg Vice President, Head of Roofing Scandinavia

Ruukki Construction, part of SSAB, appoints Mikael Nolborg Vice President, Head of Roofing Scandinavia. He will be part of Ruukki Construction Management Team and report to Sami Eronen, President, Ruukki Construction. Mikael will start in the position in May 2025, at the latest.

Mikael will join Ruukki from Swedish innovation company Drupps, where he is the CEO of the company. Mikael has extensive experience of leading and developing business in international technology companies. He is also well acquainted with the steel and construction industry, having worked at SSAB from 2007-2017, most recently as Vice President, Market Development for SSAB Europe.

In his new role at Ruukki, Mikael will lead the Roofing business in Scandinavia, where Ruukki Construction offers customers high-quality roofing products under the three brands: Plannja, Dala-Profil and Designtak.

Mikael will replace Carsten Kyster, who has temporarily led the business since April 2023.
