New representatives on the Management Committee of BfG The board (Aufsichtsrat) of BfG Bank AG has appointed new members to its Management Committee (Vorstand). The changes will come into effect on 3 January 2000, when SEB assumes ownership and takes over the management of BfG from Crédit Lyonnais. SEB will be represented by Lars Lundquist, Lars-Olov Törnquist and Jan Lindberg. Lars Lundquist, Executive Vice President of SEB, will take over managerial responsibility for the following areas at BfG: Trading, Treasury and Asset Management. Furthermore, he will Deputy Group Chief Executive of BfG and will be responsible for the integration of BfG into the SEB Group. Lars-Olov Törnquist will be responsible for corporate clients, including real estate clients. He will remain part of the management of SEB's office in Frankfurt. Jan Lindberg has been appointed controller - with responsibility for economic issues and auditing. He was formerly controller for SEB's Retail Distribution area in Sweden. Other members of the management team of BfG are: Karl-Heinz Hülsmann, President of BfG and also responsible for Group Functions and IT. Ernst Maul, who is responsible for institutional clients and back-office. Berndt Kiene, who is responsible for the branch office network of BfG.
