S2Medical wins procurement in Region Jönköping

S2Medical AB (publ) (“Company”) has through Mediq AB won a tender for wound healing articles in Region Jönköping. The articles in the tender are Ynolens perfume free odor remover and a wound scraper which both are manufactured for the Company by third party manufacturers. The tender runs over 4 years and is estimated to be worth approximately 4,5 MSEK.

Sub-distributors such as Mediq AB are used by the Company in the cases when tenders demand a wider range of products than the Company currently can offer from its own range.

S2Medical AB (publ) has, as previously announced, entered into a distribution agreement with Ynolens AS for their perfume free odor remover in Sweden, which among other things is used for alleviating the suffering associated with management of wounds.

Stigmatization of wound related problems is strongly associated with bad smell from the wounds which has a significantly negative effect on the patient’s quality of life. Ynolens AS have developed a perfume free odor remover which helps healthcare personnel as well as patients to get an environment which is free from foul odors. The product has with great success been used on S2Clinic since its opening and is an integral part of S2Medicals wound healing concept.
