    Saab has today signed a contract with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) for 16 Gripen E fighter aircraft for Ukraine. The order value corresponds to approximately SEK 24.6 billion and the order will be booked in the third quarter 2026.     Saab has today signed a contract with the Polish State Treasury Armaments Agency and received an order for the production and delivery of three A26-type submarines. The contract also encompasses a weapon package and a training- and support package. The order value corresponds to approximately SEK 47 billion.     Two new Gripen C fighters landed yesterday at Kecskemét Air Base, marking the completion of the deliveries under the contract amendment signed between The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) and the Hungarian Ministry of Defence in January 2024.With these deliveries, Hungary will operate a total of 18 Gripen C/D (16 Gripen C and 2 Gripen D) aircrafts to protect and defend Hungarian and NATO airspace.     Sweden’s Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson and Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced today that Ukraine intends to acquire an initial batch of up to 20 Gripen E/F and that Sweden intends to donate up to 16 Gripen C/D to Ukraine.     Canada has announced that they will enter into detailed discussions and formal negotiations with Saab as the preferred supplier of Canada’s future AEW&C, enabled by Saab’s GlobalEye.     Saab has launched its new anti-tank ammunition round for the Carl-Gustaf weapon during a live firing customer demonstration in May at Karlskoga, Sweden.The new round, designated HEAT 758, has been designed to defeat heavy armoured vehicles equipped with Explosive Reactive Armour (ERA). Vehicles protected by ERA are increasingly more common on the battlefield.
