    Saab has signed a GBP 20 million (SEK 270 million) amendment to the Instrumented Live Training (ILT-D) contract signed in April 2024 with the UK Ministry of Defence.     U.S. Department of Justice requests information from Saab North America, Inc. regarding Brazil’s acquisition of Gripen fighters in 2014

    Saab North America, Inc., a U.S. subsidiary of Saab, has received a subpoena from the U.S. Department of Justice (DoJ). The DoJ has requested information about the Brazilian Government’s acquisition of 36 Gripen E/F fighter aircraft for its air force. The contract was signed in 2014.Brazil’s fighter procurement (the FX-2 programme) took place between 2008 and 2014 and Saab was awarded the contract.     Saab has received an additional order from Lithuania for the Mobile Short-Range Air Defence (MSHORAD) solution.     The U.S. Army has awarded Saab an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, which allows the U.S. Army to place orders for up to $494 million over five years for the XM919 Individual Assault Munition (IAM) programme.     Saab has received an order from the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) for ten combat boats. The order value is approximately SEK 400 million.     Saab has today signed a contract with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) regarding delivery of a third GlobalEye airborne early warning and control aircraft to Sweden.     Saab, as the first major defence company, has received approval for its 2050 targets for greenhouse gas emission reductions by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).“I am proud that we have had our long-term emission reduction targets approved by the SBTi.     Saab has today announced that Anna Wijkander, currently Deputy CFO and Head of Corporate Control at Saab, will become the company’s new CFO and a new member of Saab’s Group Management.
