Saab, as one of the leading global Air Traffic Management companies, will be exhibiting at the Airspace World 2024, Palexpo Exhibition Centre, Geneva from 19-21 March. Saab will be demonstrating its broad line of products and services that are transforming the Air Traffic Management (ATM) landscape from a group of separate tools into a harmonised digital ecosystem that is future-proof and maximises capacity, safety, sustainability and efficiency.

Saab’s ATM solutions on display will include:

  • Saab I-ATS; a complete and operational ATC automation suite.

  • Industry-leading airport surveillance solutions, including Saab’s Cooperative Surveillance System, VL-1090 Vehicle Locator, and SR-3 Surface Movement Radar.
  • The Aerobahn Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) and efficiency platform that enables airports and airlines to drive down operating costs, enhance efficiency and improve the public’s flying experience.
  • Operational Safety and Efficiency analysis capabilities that are providing users with a better understanding of the performance of airports.
  • TactiCall VCS allows air traffic controllers and military forces to address key communication challenges: shared operations and efficiency, reducing costs and adapting to rapid technical developments and requirements. TactiCall VCS system provides multi-level secure communications, allowing controllers to listen to a mix of secure & non-secure communication channels. TactiCall VCS is certified at Evaluation Assurance Level (EAL) 5+.
  • Automated Weather Observing Observation System (AWOS) contributes to increased safety for thousands of passengers all over the world. Using a large number of sensors at the airport and Combitech’s system software, weather conditions are analysed at the airport in real time and reported automatically to air traffic control and to the aircraft via data link or over the radio.
