Saab receives order for data links
Defence and security company Saab has received an order for data links. The order amounts to Euro 12, 8 million (approximately SEK 119 million).
“Saab has delivered robust data link solutions for more than 25 years and offers data links in a wide range of applications,” says Micael Johansson, head of Saab’s business area Electronic Defence Systems.
Saab is a leading supplier in the area of high frequency and microwave systems used for both radar and data link applications. Saab’s data links supports frequency bands from VHF and upwards. Tailored solutions are provided for both ground based and airborne systems including radar integrated data links and light weight terminals.
Deliveries will be made from the business area Electronic Defence Systems in Gothenburg during 2014-2018.
The defence and security industry’s nature is such that information regarding customers and products sometimes is subject to confidentiality agreements between Saab and its customers. For this reason further information about this order will not be announced.
The order was received and subsequently registered on 28 September, 2012.
