Saab is pleased to invite media, financial analysts and investors to the annual submarine seminar in Stockholm, Sweden, on August 30 2019. Join the seminar in person or online to learn more about Saab´s submarine operations.

The submarine seminar 2019 will be hosted by Gunnar Wieslander, Senior Vice President and head of Saab business area Kockums.

The purpose of the seminar is to increase the knowledge about Saab´s development and productions of submarines, and how we prepare for the future.  

As well as an overview of the business, we intend to answer questions such as: How do you make a 15-year old submarine into the world´s most advanced? How do you design modern submarines? How do you optimise the production of submarines?

  • Rickard Jonasson, Project Owner for the Mid-Life Upgrade of the Gotland-class submarines
  • Anna Gandal, Head of Mechanical Systems at Kockums
  • Helena Lönegård, Head of Production at Kockums
