    Saab acquires Täby Displayteknik AB

    Defence and security company Saab acquires 100 percent of the shares in Täby Displayteknik AB, a subsidiary of ISD Technologies AB.     Saab receives UK defence training orders

    Defence and security company Saab has received additional orders from the UK Ministry of Defence to enhance their existing provision of live training capabilities to the British Army abroad and in the UK.     Saab receives orders for Swedish Armed Forces training systems

    Defence and security company Saab has received two new orders from FMV (the Swedish Defence Material Administration) for army training systems. The orders are for a new urban warfare training system and for enhancing the existing simulators of the Swedish Armed Forces. The orders amounts to MSEK 85 and 46 respectively.For several years, Saab has been the main supplier of laser simulator systems for troops and vehicles to FMV. The new order entails that Saab also will deliver a realistic urban warfare training system. The system includes simulation of realistic effects in urban areas as well

    Saab signs support contract with the British Army

    Defence and security company Saab has signed a support contract with the British Army. The contract, amounting to approximately MSEK 150, covers the maintenance and support of delivered training systems used by British Army.This contract is an extension of existing support contract and enables the British Army high performance combat training on the training areas in UK, Canada and Germany.
