    Saab receives order for Gripen E support and maintenance systems

    Defence and security company Saab has received an order for Gripen E role equipment, along with support and maintenance equipment. The value of the order amounts to approx. SEK 5.8 billion. The order is part of Saab’s existing agreement with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) covering activity for the Gripen E from 2013 to 2026.     Saab signs contract for Skeldar UAS for maritime operations

    Defence and security company Saab has signed a contract to deploy the Skeldar Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) for maritime operations. Skeldar UAS will be operationally deployed with the customer before the end of this year and will be used in naval operations where the benefits of a Vertical Take Off and Landing UAS are most prominent.Skeldar is a flexible multi-mission system set to successfully meet mission objectives on land or at sea.     Saab receives order for Unmanned Aerial System from FMV

    Defence and security company Saab has received an order worth approximately MSEK 500 from the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) for a Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle system (TUAV).Saab will deliver two complete TUAV systems, including the aircraft, ground stations, intelligence units and ancillary equipment. The order means that Saab will assume an overall commitment for the system.
