FARMSCAPE EXPANDS SERVICE TO SOUTHBAY

LOS ANGELES – September 19, 2011 – Farsmcape, LLC has announced that it will be expanding its organic garden installation and maintenance services to more of Southern California, effective immediately. The urban agriculture social enterprise will expand service to Marina Del Rey, El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Palos Verdes Estates, and Rancho Palos Verdes this winter. Farmscape is hoping to include Long Beach among the communities it services by spring 2012.

“This expansion is the largest single increase in our service area since the company was founded,” says Farmscape CEO Jesse DuBois. “Our significant growth over the last three years has allowed us to provide high-yield, organic gardens to more than 100 customers around Los Angeles, and bring fresh, delicious produce to more Southern Californians than ever before.”

Farsmcape has installed more than 10,000 square feet of garden, and produced more than 22,000 pounds of fresh, organic produce since opening its doors in 2009. Currently, the company services much of North Los Angeles County and parts of the San Fernando and San Gabriel Valleys.
