The Rescue Services of Akureyri in Iceland further strengthen their operational capability in water rescue operations with one RescueRunner system.

The Rescue Service in Iceland has gradually built up its lifesaving fleet with Safe at Seas RescueRunners.

As the boats work well and are extremely stable, which is required in the tough waters, they have now chosen to invest in another system.

Rescue Runner's durable hull and construction allow rescue efforts in both shallow, difficult and rocky areas.

The Rescue Services of Akureyri  has for a long time identified the need for a safe and stable rescue boat such as the RescueRunner. They choose the RescueRunner system as it enables safe and efficient rescue operations in shallow and inaccessible areas in within their operational rescue area in Iceland.

“We are very pleased that The Rescue Services in Akureyri in Iceland choose the RescueRunner system to strengthen their operational capability in water rescue operations. We are convinced that their RescueRunner will be of great benefit to them and contribute to safe and efficient operations in their important activities.” says Marianne Wittbom, CEO at Safe at Sea.

The RescueRunner system will be delivered in Q2 2022.
