Safello Appoints Emelie Moritz as New COO, Andreas Kennemar Appointed CBDO
Stockholm, 21 December 2021 | Swedish fintech Safello continues its recruitment drive and today announced Emelie Moritz will join the company as Chief Operating Officer and part of the Group’s management team. Former COO, Andreas Kennemar, is appointed Chief Business Development Officer to lead the company’s business development strategy.
Safello has accelerated its innovation pace and successfully launched its wallet, subscription service and three additional cryptocurrencies in the last couple of months. The newly made key appointments will allow capacity to continue this pace and at the same time explore new business opportunities.
Emelie Moritz joins from fintech company Fondab where she held the role as COO. Emelie has a background as legal counsel working previously for Avanza and Carnegie Investment Bank. At Safello, Emelie will focus on continuing enhancing the company’s operations and business efficiency.

The newly established role Chief Business Development Officer, to which Andreas Kennemar has been appointed, is established to further strengthen and develop Safello’s offering and strategic direction. Andreas has over 25 years of experience from the technology and finance industry and prior to Safello held a position as Technology Evangelist at Swedbank.
