Safello Signs With Fireblocks To Offer World-Leading MPC Based Wallet Infrastructure
Stockholm, 12 August 2021 | Swedish fintech Safello today announced it has signed on with Fireblocks, the industry-leading platform for securing digital assets. Safello will be utilizing Fireblocks’ unique MPC-based wallet infrastructure to support the introduction of a digital wallet, enabling Safello’s over 200,000 customers to store digital assets securely.
Fireblocks has developed a proprietary protocol using MPC technology that eliminates the single point of failure for private keys, and is used by some of the world's largest banks and leading cryptocurrency exchanges such as crypto.com, Binance, Gemini, and BitBay.
MPC, or multi-party computation, is a cryptographic technology, where private keys are never constructed in full, removing a single point of failure. MPC breaks up private keys into parts and distributes them between various parties to execute a transaction, which will protect customer funds with the highest level of security.
