Saga Tankers ASA :Mandatory notification of trade in Saga Tankers ASA - share buyback

Reference is made to the Extraordinary General Meeting of 11 February 2016 (see notice and minutes of same day) where the general meeting unanimously authorized the board of directors to purchase up to 28 673 611 (10% of outstanding shares) own shares in the period until the annual general meeting in 2017.

Saga Tankers ASA has on 23 February purchased 7 million own shares on the open market at NOK 2.47 per share. After the transaction Saga Tankers ASA owns a total of 7 million own shares, representing 2.44% of the outstanding share capital.
