Saint Elizabeth Receives Accreditation Canada's Highest Certification

Markham, ON (July 17, 2013) – Saint Elizabeth Health Care (“Saint Elizabeth”) has successfully achieved its sixth consecutive certification from Accreditation Canada, with Exemplary Standing.

Accreditation of Exemplary Standing is awarded to an organization that attains the highest level of performance, achieving excellence in meeting the requirements of Accreditation Canada.  Accreditation is one of the most effective ways for health services organizations to regularly and consistently examine and improve the quality of their services.  Health care organizations that participate in accreditation are evaluating their performance against national standards of excellence that examine all aspects of health care, from patient safety and ethics, to staff training and partnering with the community.

• The core values of respect, trust and integrity are pervasive throughout the organization and consistently demonstrated – within the teams at Saint Elizabeth and with clients and their families.
