SaltX founder and CTO awarded Technologist of the Year 2018

Nasdaq First North-listed energy storage company SaltX (SALT: B) Founder and Chief Technical Officer (CTO) Göran Bolin was awarded the prestigious award Technologist of the Year 2018 by the Chamber of Commerce of Southern Sweden on Thursday evening. Göran Bolin is the sixth Technologist of the Year who receives the award, which aims to draw attention to those people who through their work contribute to development and inspire their surroundings.
"Of course, I am extremely proud and pleased to have received the Chamber of Commerce's award Technologist of the Year 2018. But even more important is that the award confirms how important and groundbreaking our solution for storing energy in salt is. We have started the launch of our energy storage solution – EnerStore, enabling us to store large amounts of energy," says Göran Bolin.
SaltX focuses on large-scale energy storage and is now executing a rights issue to increase the rate of commercialization of the company's technology for large-scale energy storage - EnerStore. The rights issue is fully guaranteed through subscriptions from the principal shareholders Industrifonden and Skirner AB and through rights issue guarantees from a guarantee consortium.

The award Technologist of the Year was established by the Chamber of Commerce on the initiative of Kerstin Lindell, CEO of Bona AB and Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce.
