- Starts cooperation with a local energy company

Nasdaq First North-listed SaltX Technology has initiated collaboration with a newly established energy company in Ghana - SolarX. In connection with the agreement, the company has placed a first order of a solar demonstration kit to be displayed to authorities and potential customers. The demonstration platform will be installed at the university in Accra where SolarX will provide training for installers and franchisees of the concept in all of the country's districts.

As a part of the marketing of SunCool in Africa, SaltX has recently visited Ghana and attended a major trade fair for renewable energy. In addition, the company has discussed with different partners who can sell, manufacture and distribute SunCool in Ghana. The plan is to import either the SunCool collectors from SaltX Chinese partner- NSECT – or the core tubes with the SaltX material to assemble the solar collectors in Ghana.

"Although SolarX is a newly established company, it has the right political contacts to influence the great solar revolution that this country is going through. Everyone I have met in Ghana, including the Minister of Energy, believes that SunCool is needed to transform the country to become independent of expensive fossil fuels that are now hindering economic growth in Ghana", says Göran Bolin, CTO and vice president of SaltX Technology.

SolarX recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ghana's Energy Commission for the accreditation of "Solar Entrepreneurs".

SaltX CEO Karl Bohman concludes: “Ghana will be a great gateway to other markets in Africa for SunCool.”
