The United Nations needs to make a "renewed global commitment to mental health" according to mental health experts. Dozens of doctors, academics, policy advisors, advocates, and service users issued a joint statement, published by the independent non-profit organization Salzburg Global Seminar, following the Salzburg Global session New Paradigms for Behavioral and Mental Health held in December in Salzburg, Austria.The five-day event, held at Schloss Leopoldskron, brought together more than 70 mental health care
