Innovation Brief - Samco Machinery's Strut Material Handling Nester and Bundler

Samco recently completed the manufacturing of an Automatic Strut Material Handling Nester and Bundler. Like all Samco products and components, it is designed and engineered for high volume and high quality.

It can be added to an existing strut line to maximize packaging efficiency and key features include: nesting strut profiles from 13/16`” to 3-1/4” high; creating mini-bundles of up to 10 pieces; creating stacks of mini-bundles ready for strapping; automatically inserting wood blocks and straps into bundles, ready to ship; and easily integrating into a SAMCO strut rollforming system as an option for maximum productivity

The benefits to the customer include being able to: handle a wide range of profile heights for maximum production flexibility; and handle 10 & 20 ft profile lengths in same equipment with a push of a button. The product is also ready to be moved by forklift for shipping with minimal operator involvement
