Saminvest invests in Norrsken Evolve
Saminvest has committed EUR 10 million to the new Swedish venture capital fund Norrsken Evolve. The fund will invest in impact-driven early-stage companies in fields such as biotechnology, renewable energy generation and storage, security and health tech, with potential to strengthen Europe's resilience and sustainable development.
Norrsken Evolve invests at an early stage, primarily in Nordic and European impact companies, offering initial venture capital and company-specific growth programmes, with the possibility of follow-on investments in the most successful companies.

The fund will be led by the three general partners Johan Attby, Alex Bakir and Rebecka Löthman-Rydå. The fund has made its first close at EUR 57 million, and Saminvest is an anchor investor with EUR 10 million in committed capital. Other leading investors include the European Investment Fund (EIF) and SmartCap Green Fund, together with leading tech-founders and family offices.
