Fair Lawn, N.J. – Sandvik Coromant, the market leading producer of cutting tools, and Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR), the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team co-owned by Tony Stewart and Haas Automation founder Gene Haas, have renewed their partnership for a second year.

The agreement maintains Sandvik Coromant as an official team sponsor of SHR, while SHR is supplied with superior metal cutting solutions for its Haas CNC machines. Beyond the tooling, Sandvik Coromant will provide in-house training for customers and employees, and full application and technical support. The agreement also strengthens its relationship with Haas Automation, the largest machine tool builder in the western world.

“We look forward to being a part of the team’s continued pursuit of excellence in NASCAR racing,” said Brian Norris, vice president of marketing for Sandvik Coromant US. “Each of us has benefited greatly from the other and continuing with this partnership is the natural next step to succeeding in this industry,” added Norris.

“We are honored to be working with such a respected technology partner,” said Joe Custer, executive vice-president of SHR. “It’s great to partner with a brand that has such an incredible reputation. We know the people of Sandvik Coromant are making our racecars more competitive with their tooling solutions.”
