Sandvik Coromant Extends Partnership with Stewart-Haas Racing

Fair Lawn, N.J., Feb. 9, 2012 – Sandvik Coromant, the market-leading producer of tools for the metal-cutting industry, is pleased to announce the renewal of its longtime partnership with Stewart-Haas Racing (Kannapolis, N.C.) for the 2012 season. This is the fourth consecutive year that Sandvik Coromant has served as the official technical sponsor for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team.

Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR) is co-owned by the three-time Sprint Cup champion Tony Stewart and Gene Haas, founder of Haas Automation – the largest CNC machine tool builder in the western world. In this partnership Sandvik Coromant will provide the racing team with the indexable cutting tools necessary for its Haas CNC Machines. Additionally, Sandvik Coromant will offer SHR its technical expertise, training and application support to improve the teams machining processes.
