    Sandvik wins SEK 350 million mining equipment order in Australia

    Sandvik has received a major equipment order from the Australia-based mining contractor Barminco, to be deployed at the Bellevue Gold Project in Western Australia. The order is valued at approximately SEK 350 million and was booked in the second quarter of 2026. The order includes underground loaders, trucks and drill rigs, with deliveries expected to begin in the third quarter of 2026 and continue through the first quarter of 2027.     Sandvik has received a major underground mining equipment fleet order from the China-based mining contractor JCHX Mining Management Co., Ltd., to be used at the Khoemacau Copper Mine in Botswana. The order is valued at approximately SEK 650 million and was booked in the second quarter of 2026.     Sandvik has signed an agreement to divest its business unit Additive Manufacturing to Mimir, a global investment firm based in Sweden.     Sandvik has appointed Patrick Murphy as President of business area Mining and new member of the Sandvik Group Executive Management, effective July 1, 2026. He succeeds Mats Eriksson, who as previously announced is stepping down from the role ahead of his planned retirement in 2027. Patrick Murphy is currently President of the Rotary Drilling division within Mining. Patrick Murphy, born in 1976, is a Canadian national.     Sandvik has received a major order for underground mining equipment from the Canadian mining company Aris Mining, to be used at the Marmato gold mine in Colombia.     Sandvik wins large order for battery-electric mining equipment in Canada

    Sandvik has received a large order for battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) from the Canada-based mining company Eldorado Gold, to be used at its Lamaque mine in Val-d’Or, Québec. The order is valued at around SEK 160 million and was booked in the fourth quarter of 2025.  The order includes battery-electric trucks and loaders and follows a SEK 65 million BEV order from Eldorado Gold booked in the third quarter.
