Change of number of shares and votes in Sandvik AB

As a result of the share issue in kind recently implemented by Sandvik AB in connection with the takeover offer to the shareholders of Seco Tools AB, the number of shares and votes in the company has increased by 66,889,974. As per 31 January 2012, the total number of shares and votes in the company consequently amounts to 1,253,177,149. As per the same date, the company’s share capital amounts to SEK 1,503,812,578.80.

This increase in shares and votes in Sandvik does not include the shares that may be issued as consideration to those Seco Tools shareholders who have accepted the takeover offer during the extended acceptance period that expired on 26 January 2012.
