Sandvik secures major Mining Systems order in South Africa

Sandvik Mining has been awarded a major materials handling contract to South Africa.

The value of the contract exceeds 600 million SEK and was booked in the second quarter of 2015. It will be executed and contribute to Sandvik Mining's business for the period of the years 2015 until 2017.

The project includes engineering, supply and installation of two bucket-wheel stacker/reclaimers with capacity of up to 6,800 tons per hour and two shiploaders with capacity of up to 11,000 tons per hour for coal handling.
