SAS Cargo appoints new Head of Commercial division
New commercial Vice President in SAS Cargo SAS Cargo has appointed Jimmy Kjaersvold as new head of the commercial division of SAS Cargo, which is responsible for SAS Airmail, Trust (SAS Cargo's forwarding company) and product & business development. Jimmy Kjaersvold (41) has many years of experience within the airfreight business and comes from a position as Director of Maersk Air Cargo. He starts in SAS Cargo September 1st. - Through his 20 years in Maersk Air Cargo Jimmy has achieved a very valuable commercial experience which, combined with his personality, makes him the right person to continue our strategy within the commercial development of SAS Cargo, says Kenneth Marx, Managing Director of SAS Cargo Group. - The global development has lead to a demand for goods being transported across world continents continually. I believe, that those companies that are capable of running a successful business in the future are those who can guarantee a high quality at the same time as a fast and safe transport and delivery.
