SAS Cargo signs trucking deal with Kim Johansen International Services

SAS Cargo signs trucking deal with Kim Johansen International Services SAS Cargo Group A/S and Kim Johansen International Transport A/S have signed a five year contract on trucking services between several destinations in Scandinavia, Finland and Europe. Surface transportation will be used to and from SAS Cargo's intercontinental routes in order to complement the air cargo network. The contract represents an annual tonnage of around 120,000 or 20,000 full truckloads. The new contract will ensure continued product development. In the future, Kim Johansen International Transport A/S will be responsible for all SAS Cargo's surface transportation within Europe. This includes agreements with subcontractors in order to ensure a clearly defined division of responsibility, high quality and one stop shopping for SAS Cargo. "SAS Cargo will establish more efficient transport solutions and also improve the economy and quality through increased focus on truck planning.
