SAS Ground Services and Britannia Airways sign Scandinavian agreement

Britannia Airways AB has signed an agreement for Scandinavia with SAS Ground Services. This means that Britannia Airways is renewing its current contract for ground handling services with SAS Ground Services for a 3-year period. The agreement covers over 2,000 departures per year. Automatic check-in has been introduced on a trial basis for Britannia Airways customers at Stockholm Arlanda Airport in Sweden and Oslo Gardermoen Airport in Norway. Trials will also start shortly at Copenhagen Airport in Denmark. “We are continually working on securing and improving quality in close cooperation with SAS Ground Services. The renewed agreement means that together we can continue to improve efficiency and find operational solutions for the benefit of both parties,” says Peter Ahlström, Director Ground Operations at Britannia Airways AB. “We are very pleased that our long and good cooperation with Britannia Airways is to continue,” says Madeleine Raukas, Managing Director of SAS Ground Services Sverige AB. The renewed agreement also includes the following airlines in the TUI Group: Britannia Airways Ltd, Hapag Lloyd, Corsair, Tui Airlines Belgium, Thomsonfly and TUI Airlines Nederland N.V.
