SAS named Official Data Analytics Partner of the Washington Redskins

Redskins invest in analytics to deliver stronger fan experience

The Washington Redskins have some of the most loyal fans in the NFL. To provide those supporters with the ultimate experience – on and off the field – the Redskins have selected SAS as their Official Data Analytics Partner. The Redskins plan to use SAS® Analytics as part of their business operations to improve fan insight and engagement.

“Our fans are the best in the NFL and we want to give them the best possible experience when they interact with the Washington Redskins,” said Terry Bateman, Executive Vice President and CMO of the Washington Redskins. “We’re always looking for new ways to better serve our customers and we think the SAS tools are among the best in the industry and will make us a more effective organization.”

The Redskins will be using SAS Marketing Automation to build a centralized data warehouse and design marketing programs that appeal to fans on an individual level. SAS Intelligent Advertising will be used to send communications and promotions across multiple channels, including their many specialized websites and mobile apps.
