The Queen Catherine Hotel Launches Mobile Website

Northallerton (September 5, 2012) – A pub and hotel in the popular North Yorkshire village of Osmotherley has launched a mobile version of its website to help visitors find hotel information quickly and easily from their Smartphones.

Smartphone technology allows users to access the web whilst on the move, so having a website that’s optimised for small screens and wireless technology is becoming a must for businesses of all sizes. Mobile website content can be downloaded quickly so users can access a site, browse and buy with ease.

The Queen Catherine Hotel is owned and managed by Nick Keating; it’s a popular destination for walkers and visitors to the local area as it’s situated in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors.

Mr Keating commented, “We think the mobile site will help us in a number of ways. Potential customers and those visiting the area will be able to find and contact us with ease from their mobile phones. The site has a link to Google maps, which can provide directions straight to us, and a ‘tap-to-call’ feature allowing a user to call us with a single tap or click.”

“We’re a small village hotel and pub so visitors to the area are really important to the business, we want to make sure our site is useful and can be accessed easily, giving users all the information they need about the hotel.”

The Google partner SayuConnect designed and built the mobile website for The Queen Catherine Hotel. The mobile site can be found here: http://m.queencatherinehotel.co.uk.
