Multicare Launches Mobile Website For Smartphone Users

Lancashire (July 31, 2012) – A Lancashire based stairlift and mobility company has launched a new mobile version of its website to provide greater accessibility for its customers and new visitors to the site.

The proliferation of Smartphone technology has begun an evolution that is seeing business of all sizes looking to provide usable and flexible mobile websites to meet the needs of users. An increasing number of people are using devices with much smaller screens than the average laptop or tablet computer to search and access their favourite sites on the web.

Colne based Multicare (http://www.multicare.co.uk/) is an established company that sells a wide range of mobility products to customers throughout the UK. Multicare also provides a full range of services including installation and servicing.

Owners of the business are Martin Baldwin and John Metcalfe; between them they have over 25 years of experience in the design and installation of mobility products.

The business was established in 1985 and is still going strong, but both Martin and John are always focused on achieving further growth and success.

Mr Baldwin commented, “Multicare has always been a service driven business and we’ve always found this to be the most important thing to our customers. For us our service starts from the moment someone calls up or clicks on our site; so we want to ensure everyone has a good experience when they make contact.”

“We’re definitely finding that an increasing number of people are accessing our site from mobile phones such as Android and iPhone, so we felt it was time to think specifically about the needs of those users; and we’re pleased with the result.”

The Google approved mobile developer SayuConnect designed and built the mobile website for Multicare (http://m.multicare.co.uk).
