    SCA’s Annual General Meeting 2026

    The Annual General Meeting of SCA was held on March 27, 2026 at Clarion Hotel in Sundsvall.The Meeting approved the income statement and balance sheet for the parent company and the consolidated income statement and consolidated balance sheet for 2025.   The Annual General Meeting resolved, for the financial year of 2025, on a dividend of SEK 3.00 per share. The record date for the dividend is Tuesday, March 31, 2026.     SCA and the representative organisation for reindeer husbandry and Sámi business and community affairs, the Swedish Sámi National Association (SSR), have signed an agreement aimed at strengthening cooperation between SCA, SSR and the reindeer husbandry sector.     Unique beetle discovery on SCA land in Västerbotten

    The very rare shining beetle Glischrochilus tremulae has been found in SCA’s biodiversity park Tjäderberget outside Lycksele, marking the first recorded discovery in Västerbotten.The species has strict habitat requirements and a clear dependence on sun-exposed hollow aspens. Roger Mugerwa Pettersson, a conservation biologist specializing in ecological communities of insects and arachnids in boreal forests, has carried out several species inventories for SCA in the Tjäderberget biodiversity park.     Over the past five years, SCA has added 30,763 hectares of new key habitat within the framework of the company’s forestry operations.     SCA today publishes the company’s Annual Report for 2025. By combining a strong industrial base with a high degree of self-sufficiency in wood raw material, energy, and logistics, SCA has managed to maintain a stable EBITDA margin of 32.1 percent despite the challenging global market.     SCA aims for 40 percent lower emissions from RoRo vessels

    Starting on 1 October 2026, SCA will implement changes to its sea transport using RoRo vessels (Roll-on/Roll-off) by reducing speed, increasing vessel load factors, and adjusting how the ports in Umeå and Piteå are used. One effect of these changes is that emissions from the vessels will be reduced by approximately 40 percent.From 1 October 2026, SCA will change the structure of its vessel departures from Umeå.
