Lennart Persson, CFO and Executive Vice President of SCA, to retire on July 1, 2014
SCA’s CFO and Executive Vice President Lennart Persson will retire on July 1, 2014, after contributing to SCA’s growth in a number of senior positions since 1987. Fredrik Rystedt, 49, will succeed Lennart Persson. Fredrik will become a member of SCA’s Corporate Senior Management Team and will be employed from March 1, although he will formally assume his position on July 1, 2014.
Fredrik Rystedt has extensive experience of the chief financial officer position gained at a number of listed companies. Between 1989 and 1998, he held a series of senior positions in the Electrolux Group. In the late 1990s, he served as CFO of the aluminum profile company Sapa. Between 2001 and 2008, Fredrik Rystedt was employed as CFO of Electrolux. From 2008 until early 2013, he was the CFO, Executive Vice President and country manager for Sweden for the Nordic banking group Nordea.
In his new role at SCA, Fredrik Rystedt will report to President and CEO Jan Johansson.
