Personnel reduction at Cementa in Skövde

Personnel reduction at Cementa in Skövde Cement deliveries in Sweden have decreased to the lowest level in 50 years. A continued depressed activity in construction is forecast up to the millenium. Such low levels imply only 125 days of production in 1997 at Cementa's plant in Skövde in western Sweden. The plant must adapt to the new conditions and has to reduce the number of employees by approximately 30 persons.
