Scandiaconsult re-certified in accordance with ISO 9001

Scandiaconsult re-certified in accordance with ISO 9001 Scandiaconsult Sverige AB has once again been certified in accordance with ISO 9001 through Det Norske Veritas. The certification covers all operations and offices within the company. When Scandiaconsult was re-organised in 1998, its certification according to ISO 9001 was, at the company's own request, made dormant for revision and overhaul purposes. This overhaul was undertaken with a view to adapting the quality system to the upcoming DIS ISO 9001/2000 and to taking environmental and work environment issues into consideration in a relevant manner. The outcome was PLUS (Planering. Ledning, Uppföljning, Samordning, which translates as Planning, Management, Follow-up, Co-ordination), one of Sweden's first electronic environmental and quality management systems. The system as a whole is accessible to all Scandiaconsult's employees via the company's intranet. "The idea of PLUS is to support the business operations conducted through our assignments. Our goal is to provide customers with a constant and high level of quality and to make PLUS simple and meaningful for employees. To take an example, the supporting documents have been drawn up as easy-to-use checklists, templates, forms and instructions to make them genuinely useful in the context of our projects," says Sveneric Asplund, head of quality control at Scandiaconsult in Sweden.
