Torbjörn Torell resigns as managing director of Scandiaconsult Torbjörn Torell, the managing director of the A-listed consulting engineering company, Scandiaconsult AB, will leave his position at the Annual General Meeting on 8 May. "With the Danish consulting engineering company Rambøll as its new owner, Scandiaconsult is entering a new development phase. Rambøll has offered me the opportunity of continuing as vice CEO of the new Group and managing director of the Swedish operations, but I feel that after more than five years as managing director, this is the right time to resign. The new owner must have total freedom of action," says Mr Torell giving his reasons for his decision. "In the situation which has arisen, I fully understand his decision to resign and look for new challenges in the business world," comments Scandiaconsult's chairman of the Board, Lars-Ove Håkansson.
