Ulf Persson joins Scandiaconsult

Ulf Persson joins Scandiaconsult Ulf Persson has been appointed as the new head of Region South at Scandiaconsult Sverige AB. The regional unit has 160 employees and a number of complex projects currently underway, including the new commission on road 50 in Motala and the ongoing environmental inspection at Hallandsås. Gösta Ericson, current head of Region South, will stay at Scandiaconsult to work full-time with project and technical coordination and as a project leader with a focus on large-scale assignments. In connection with this, Gösta Ericson will transfer to SCC Projektledning AB. Ulf Persson comes most recently from Skanska Teknik AB where he has served as departmental manager of Hus Syd. Ulf is 37 years old and a holds a Masters of Civil Engineering from Lund Institute of Technology. After earning his degree in 1989 he worked as a structural engineer at the former Riksbyggen Konsult and held various positions at Skanska Teknik from 1993 onwards, for the past two years as a departmental manager. "Southern Sweden is in an expensive phase with many interesting projects in progress. With his valuable experience and good market familiarity, Ulf Persson will make a strong and competent new manager for Region South. At the same time, Gösta Ericson will enhance our competitiveness with an influential name in project management", says Torbjörn Torell, Managing Director and CEO of Scandiaconsult.
