New Scandic Hotel in Mariehamn on Åland Scandic Hotels Oy in Finland and the Åland Hotel Group AB have today signed a franchising agreement regarding the Hotel Savoy in Mariehamn. As a result, the hotel will operate under the name Scandic Hotel Savoy and be fully integrated with Scandic Hotels' marketing- and sales systems. "This franchising agreement enables us to establish Scandic Hotels´ brand name in Mariehamn on Åland Island, an area which is becoming an interesting destination for Swedish and Finnish markets," says Executive Vice President & COO, Anders Lilius.
