New Scandic Hotel in Stockholm - 2002 Scandic will open a new 300-room hotel in the autumn of 2002 in Alvik, a western suburb 10 kilometers from central Stockholm. The NCC construction company will build the hotel in accordance with Scandic's environmental standards.
