Scandiavian Airline´s new organization approved by civil aviation authorities Scandinavian Airlines new organization has now been approved by the civil aviation authorities. The new Air Operator´s Certificate has been issued and will apply from July 1, 2002. Accountable Manager Lars Mydland, who is also head of Scandinavian Operation Management, has general operations responsibility towards the civil aviation authorities. Klas Jonsson has been appointed new flight manager and is Nominated Post-holder Flight Operations. Scandinavian Technical Services (STS) and Scandinavian Ground Services (SGS) are no longer part of Scandinavian Airline. Instead they are part of Airline Support. Örnulf Myrvoll och Stein Nilsen will remain during a short transitional period as Nominated Post-holders for Maintenance Systems and Ground Operations. During the autumn, Ulf Nyström will develop an organization, allowing him to assume responsibility as Nominated Post-holder Maintenance Systems. The same applies for Tomas Linden, who will assume responsibility as Nominated Post-holder Ground Services.
