Scandinavian Airlines resumes direct traffic Stockholm - Bangkok Effective December 12 this year, Scandinavian Airlines is resuming direct flights between Stockholm and Bangkok. The flights will be scheduled three times weekly, with departures from Stockholm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 9:30 p.m. Travelers arrive in Bangkok on the following day at 2:00 p.m. local time. This provides the possibility for SAS passengers to make a connection with Scandinavian Airlines to Singapore that departs Bangkok at 4:10 p.m. The return trip to Stockholm departs at 1:40 a.m. local time and lands in Stockholm at 7:10 a.m. The connection from Singapore is also well timed for the departure from Bangkok. The timetable also provides travelers good possibilities to find connections that suit departures and arrivals to/from Stockholm to the rest of Scandinavia and Finland. "We are pleased to be able to offer this route since demand is very high from business as well as tourist travelers," says Per Nilson, Network Planning Manager at Scandinavian Airlines. The traffic program applies during the winter 2002/2003 season, with the last travel date from Stockholm on March 27, 2003.
