Thomas Christensen New CFO for SCN

SCN continues to reinforce the company’s management by appointing Thomas Christensen as new CFO. Christensen has extensive experience from performance measurement, corporate finance, IR, PR, finance and restructuring, and took his position on January 1, 2008.

Recruiting Christensen also gives us a stronger presence and network on the Norwegian market, where we have our primary listing”, says Ulf Söderberg, CEO of SCN.

Thomas Christensen is a Norwegian citizen with extensive international leadership experience. His most recent positions were in the Norwegian companies NetConnect Systems AS (CFO) and Active 24 ASA (CEO and CFO). Christensen also has several years of experience from different CFO positions in USA, and holds a Bachelor of Science and an MBA from the Norwegian School of Management (BI).

SCN is also planning on reinforcing the Board of Directors with an additional independent Board Member. On the next General Meeting, the Norwegian lawyer and investor Ola Røthe will be suggested for election by some of the company’s major shareholders. Røthe was the first Managing Director of Norwegian Natural ASA, and has served on the Board of Swedish Bringwell AB, thus gaining experience of working actively within SCN’s field of business.
