Scandinavian Enviro Systems (Enviro) participates when the annual international conference Recovered Carbon Black, begins today. The annual conference brings together a large number of international stakeholders connected to carbon black, including companies focused on recovered carbon black but also tire and rubber manufacturers, producers of virgin carbon black and oil companies. The conference also includes a number of leading industry organizations and manufacturers of mechanical equipment for the carbon black and tire industry.
On the first day of the conference, a keynote panel of CEO’s from leading recovered carbon black producers, will focus on opportunities and challenges in increasing the tire and rubber industry's use of recycled carbon black. Replacing virgin fossil carbon black with Enviro's recycled carbon black in the manufacture of new tires has major sustainability benefits and leads to a reduction of carbon dioxide emissions by over 90 percent.
For Enviro's CEO Fredrik Emilson, it is the first time he is attending the annual conference and he is looking forward to representing the company on site in Amsterdam.
"This is an excellent opportunity to get to know the industry's most important players, to make new contacts and not least to meet existing and potential customers in recycled carbon black and recycled oil," says Fredrik Emilson.
As one of the conference's sponsors, Enviro will arrange a special networking lunch to which a number of leading players in the industry have been invited. Fredrik Emilson is hosting the lunch, where Enviro's chairman Alf Blomqvist will also participate.
The Recovered Carbon Black conference takes place between November 5 and 6.
