The NordX Circle seminar takes its point of departure in the opportunities that the digital transformation offers industrial companies in various industries. By digitializing their entire business process, according to Siemens, industrial companies can combine the real and the digital world in a way that provides both increased efficiency and increased sustainability.

Enviro has developed a modular recycling technology that makes it possible to extract valuable raw materials from used tires. Together with Antin Infrastructure Partners, and with the support of Michelin, the company has formed the world's first large-scale tire recycling company and with the plan to establish recycling facilities in Europe by 2030 with a total annual recycling capacity of 1 million tons of end-of-life tires.

“Digitalization and automation are important components for an efficient and scalable rollout of our recycling technology and will play a major role in the implementation of our European expansion plan. As a result, digitalization also has a great importance for sustainability because increased efficiency within our operations has direct consequences for our opportunities to contribute to increased sustainability," says Thomas Sörensson, CEO Enviro.

Siemens NordX Circle takes place on September 14-15 at the Quality Hotel Friends in Solna, Sweden, and Thomas Sörensson will be on stage on the 14th. Other speakers include Håkan Agnevall, CEO of Wärtsilä, Johan Mörnstam, Head of Europe for E.ON Energy Networks, and Katarina Cornelius, Sales and Business Development Director at Stena Recycling Group.
