Information to Scania shareholders

Scania notes recent speculation in the market and the media that VW is supportive of MAN’s offer for all the shares in the company. Scania notes that VW’s September 18 rejection of the offer remains. Scania is informed that the Supervisory Board of VW will meet within a very near future and at that meeting the MAN offer for Scania will be discussed. Scania shareholders are advised to act only upon information disclosed in the market through the proper legal disclosure channels.
