New Senior Vice President Finance at Scania Ulf Egestrand has been appointed Senior Vice President Finance and member of the Scania Group Management. He takes up his new appointment on 1 January 2000. Ulf Egestrand came to Scania in 1998 as head of the company's treasury operations, having previously held the position of Managing Director at Saab Treasury AB in Linköping. Ulf Egestrand succeeds Jan Gurander, who is leaving Scania for a position as head of the Volvo Group's newly formed Finance business unit.
