Scania Annual Report 2002 Scania's Annual Report for 2002 has been published today, is being distributed to the shareholders and is available at Scania's Head Office. The report spells out in detail why Scania is one of the most profitable companies in the industry. It also presents Scania's customers and their demands, and describes how Scania is meeting them. Other topics covered in relative depth in the report include the work of the Board, the remuneration of top management and Scania's role in society. In the section dealing with the remuneration of top management (note 24), the report notes: · that the CEO's salary in 2003 will be SEK 5.8 million; · that Scania Group Management do not benefit from stock option schemes, except for the employee stock option held by the President and CEO; · that the Board's remuneration committee consisted of Dr. Bernd Pischetsrieder (chairman), Clas Åke Hedström, Peggy Bruzelius and Rolf Stomberg.
