SCANIA INTERIM REPORT - JANUARY - SEPTEMBER 2003 "Scania's profit has, during the first nine months of the year, been in line with my expectations. Economic growth in Scania's main markets in western Europe was weak but is expected to improve somewhat next year. Earnings for the rest of 2003 is expected to remain at a satisfactory level," says Leif Östling, President and CEO.
